We will keep monitoring packages included with the next major openSUSE Leap release (expected to be openSUSE Leap 16) and will move back if all our requirements have been met in that release. However, for the foreseeable future, we will be using openSUSE Leap.
openSUSE Leap 15.2 is set to include these packages as stable releases and we look set to move back for that release (we was set for Leap 16, however, our needs should be met in Leap 15.2).
